The AccuRoof Contractor Installer Scheme (the “Scheme”) provides roofing contractors with access to exclusive products, training and technical support.

Proving your credibility as a roofing contractor is a challenge, but the AccuRoof Contractor Installer Scheme can help.

The Scheme is a UK affiliation for experienced roofing contractors to will help you stand out from the competition.

Training

Scheme members receive product specific training in accordance with SPRA, LWRA and NFRC approved criteria and manufacturers recommendations.

Joining a preferred contractor database will help you a clear advantage over your competitors.

Training is available across the country at our numerous training facilities. Conversion or refresher courses are also available.

Technical and onsite support

Training is just the start of a member’s journey. A dedicated team at Shepshed provides full technical support for all projects using our products. On site, we have a network of experienced area field technicians who can provide guidance and support.

Bid support

AccuRoof offer Scheme members extra contract support to help them win work.

For any projects over 1,000m2 AccuRoof will produce a ‘Bid Support Pack’ which the contractor can present to their client when bidding for a project.

Warranties

AccuRoof offers a genuinely independent choice of waterproofing. AccuRoof is a part of FTSE listed SIG plc and maintains suitable professional indemnity Insurance giving you confidence in our services. Your customer offering can also be improved by knowing that AccuRoof can provide various design and materials warranties for roofing projects, including multi-material roofs, giving your clients greater confidence.

The Scheme is a gateway for roofing contractors into a relationship with our exclusive portfolio of products, training and support and our warranty system for peace of mind.

Application Form

    Following satisfactory checks of the Application and Deed of Indemnity forms, an offer of membership may then be made. At the present time, membership is free of charge.

    Once all checks and formalities have been completed, all appropriate successful training will be arranged to allow you to become a Scheme member. Acceptance is not automatic and shall be entirely at the discretion of AccuRoof. Membership may be revoked at any time upon notification by AccuRoof.

    Rules For Trading Members

    Scheme Membership Terms

    1. Members must always maintain highest quality standard of operation in compliance with Scheme Quality Standards
      documents (provided by AccuRoof from time to time).
    2. Compulsory training must be undertaken by members, as directed by AccuRoof at their training facility. Under no
      circumstances should training be carried out on site.
    3. Compulsory training must be undertaken for all new Scheme members and for new Scheme products. A schedule of
      training fees is available from the Scheme Co-ordinator.
    4. All activities by members must take foremost account of Health & Safety requirements.
    5. Members must ensure a minimum ratio of 30% of trained supervisors with current installer cards to be present on
      every site.
    6. Reciprocal business is compulsory.
    7. The Scheme member must indemnify all workmanship to AccuRoof.
    8. The Scheme member must be financially sound (Infocheck), with a set of accounts provided annually.
    9. Scheme Membership shall be subject to review periodically. AccuRoof reserves the right to cancel Scheme membership
      at its discretion without liability by AccuRoof.
    10. Scheme members must be involved in developing and promoting excellence in product quality, technology and
      workmanship.
    11. Scheme members must comply with the Scheme rules and general regulations as notified by AccuRoof from time to
      time.
    12. You acknowledge that AccuRoof retains all intellectual property rights, including, without limitation, copyright
      and related rights, trade or collective marks, rights in goodwill or to sue for passing off, rights in designs,
      rights in computer software, rights in confidential information and all similar or equivalent rights or forms of
      protection (‘IPR’) in and in respect of any reports, texts or materials that we, AccuRoof, our personnel, agents
      and/or representatives produce or make available to you as part of yourmembership or otherwise under the Scheme
      (together “Materials”) and our logos.
    13. We grant to you for the duration of your membership a non-exclusive, terminable licence to:
      1. use the Materials in order to comply with your obligations under these terms; and
      2. subject to you holding valid and subsisting Scheme membership, display on your business website, vehicles and
        literature only, that the business is a recognised member of the AccuRoof Roofing Contractor Scheme or ARRC,
        together with the official ARRC logo, subject to the Communications, Branding and Logo Usage Policy and
        Guidelines issued by AccuRoof from time to time.
    14. You grant to AccuRoof and our assignees or licensees a revocable non-exclusive, royalty free, sub-licensable,
      non-transferable licence to:

      1. use your business name and logo for the purpose of advertising or promoting the Scheme (including, without
        limitation, displaying the same on our business website and literature); and
      2. store, use, merge, modify, publish and reproduce in any and all media any details, data, information and/or
        photographs provided by or on behalf of you for use on our website and otherwise for our business purposes.
    15. You warrant, represent and undertake to us that any IPR you licence or grant to us does not infringe any third
      party IPR or other rights.
    16. Subject to the provisions of clause 17 and section 2(i) of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977, AccuRoof shall not
      be liable to any member for any damage or for any direct or consequential loss incurred by a member in consequence
      of any negligence on the part of AccuRoof or negligence or wilful default on the part of its servants or agents or
      in connection with the Scheme, the supply of any goods or the design or manufacture thereof or in the carrying out
      of any work or the provision of any information.
    17. The purchase of all goods and/or services from AccuRoof by a member shall be deemed to be subject to the terms and
      conditions of sale of AccuRoof
      , unless otherwise specifically agreed otherwise in writing.
