AccuRoof, a part of SIG Roofing, are proud to announce receipt of their Code for Construction Product Information (CCPI) Assessment mark (008570108/1126) for its SIGnature Ultra Protect Waterproofing Systems.
AccuRoof can now promote the CCPI mark on the systems offering customers confidence in the performance claims made in all sales, marketing and technical documentation.
The information provided on SIGnature Ultra Protect meets the CCPI acid tests in that it is clear, accurate, accessible, up-to-date, and unambiguous, making it easier for purchasers to make an informed choice.
Born out of the need transparency and accuracy, CCPI was developed by the Construction Products Association (CPA) as a means to provide independent third-party assessment of the way product information is made available to market. It was created by a group of construction product manufacturers who agreed to raise standards and transition the industry to a point where all product information provided adheres to this ethos.
The ultimate goal is for clients, specifiers, and users to demand only those products with the CCPI assessment mark.
“I have always agreed with the ethos of CCPI, and we committed to it as a company from the very outset,” said Rob Edwards, Trading Director of AccuRoof.
“We have worked diligently to provide evidence and information to support our system performance claims and adherence to the clauses of CCPI for SIGnature Ultra Protect.
Our processes for managing the systems information were assessed, and we completed training for our staff.
We strongly support the Code and are delighted to have received our assessment mark, which gives our waterproofing system recognition for providing trustworthy and accurate system information.”
